“Person of the Year” Statue
Moscow University of Industry and Finance organizes an annual contest among its employees and students and awards the winners a “Man of the year” honorary title. The contest purpose is to distinguish those MUIF representatives who thanks to their personal and professional achievements have contributed most to the University's advancement, realization of its strategic goals and development of the University's research and educational activities as well as to promoting the University's brand.
The contest includes the following nominations: “Head”, “Employee”, “Chair of the Department”, “Teacher”, “Student” as well as a number of special nominations: “For outstanding contribution to the University's development”, “For loyalty to corporate traditions”, “For scientific achievements”, “The idea (initiative) of the year” and “For implementation of a unique project contributing to the University's development”.
Any head and an employee of a structural and operational division, a teacher, a student and a graduate of the University including its branches and affiliates in other cities may participate in the contest.
The judges of the contest choose winners by secret voting. Winners are awarded diplomas, statues and other prizes.
