Education provided by Moscow University of Industry and Finance is not limited to studying different subjects, preparing for exams and tests and passing them and writing course papers. Informal socializing, participation in the events the MUIF organizes play an important role in the life of the University’s students. Concerts, festivals, sporting events for the University’s students, pupils, college and other higher education institutions students supported by the 16+Students' Club are held on a regular basis. DJ Groove; DJ Vincent Vega; Noize MC, a hip-hop singer; Denis Kosyakov, a star of the series for the youth “Love in the district”; such bands as GDR, Ber-linn, Nulevoy Meridian and many other actors and singers have already performed for the MUIF students.
The MUIF has also a sports club. Students represent the University at national, international and higher education institutions internal contests, participate in Moscow mini-football, mountain skiing, water polo, Greco-Roman and catch wrestling, sailing and beach football championships among higher education institutions.
